Attendance Matters

Pupils must be educated between the school term after their 5th birthday and the last Friday in June in the school year they turn 16 years old. As a parent/carer it is your responsibility to ensure that your child gets a full-time education that meets their needs. You can send your child to school or educate them yourself.

There are 185 days in a school year, leaving 180 days to spend on family time, shopping, appointments and other things. Our aim is for all pupils to achieve 100% attendance.
