Maple Green, opening in September 2026, will provide specialist primary provision for Autism

We understand that every individual’s journey is unique, and our goal is to provide a learning environment where each learner can build essential skills and knowledge, fostering their growth as responsible, independent, and successful young people.
We hold high aspirations for every learner who walks through our doors. Our dedicated team is here to support and guide each individual, ensuring that they reach their full potential and shine brightly in all their endeavours.
We recognise that our learners have a diverse range of strengths and needs. This understanding has driven the creation of our adapted curriculum, tailored to provide holistic support for those with additional learning needs. Through this carefully crafted approach, we offer enriching experiences that inspire and empower, fostering academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
Our curriculum is purposefully designed to place a significant emphasis on personal development. Life Skills is a core element and we want to ensure all learners are prepared for the future.
With recent changes to our Governance we are strengthening our stakeholder voice and involvement and have implemented our Parental Participation Strategy. We are committed to building strong, positive relationships with parents and carers and by working in partnership, we aim to strengthen communication, inclusivity and engagement. This school operates CCTV systems on its premises for the purposes of safeguarding pupils, staff, visitors and school property, and to assist in the prevention and detection of crime.
Images captured by CCTV are processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Access to recorded footage is restricted to authorised personnel and retained only for as long as necessary in accordance with the school’s CCTV Policy.
